G-10 is created by gradually layering glass fabric impregnated with epoxy resin, which is then pressed under high pressure. This creates a composite with exceptional strength and toughness, whose structure ensures stable mechanical properties even during long-term use. The surface can be precisely machined and then roughened or finely polished, allowing knife manufacturers to achieve an ergonomic and secure grip. The material is virtually moisture-resistant, ensuring resistance to swelling and degradation when in frequent contact with water or sweat. It does not conduct electricity, which is particularly appreciated by users in technical and industrial environments. Dimensional stability is maintained even with temperature fluctuations, with long-term resistance to temperatures up to 180°C.
