Product detailed description
The LionSTEEL-Emerson ONE project continues: the L.E.One Mid model offers a compact and ultra-light version of the iconic SOLID® folding karambit, developed in collaboration with Ernest Emerson. The knife combines LionSTEEL's precision Italian craftsmanship with Emerson Design's functional elements, resulting in a practical, quick-to-use EDC karambit with a distinctive character.
The knife head features a blade made of premium Böhler M390 steel, available in a stonewash finish or with a black PVD coating — the choice for those who demand maximum edge durability and corrosion resistance. The SOLID® handle is milled from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, giving the knife low weight and high rigidity; available in ice blue, red, green, or black.
The L.E.One Mid is the ideal choice for users who want a compact, technically advanced karambit — light to carry but ready for demanding use.

LionSteel was founded in 1969 in Maniago, where knife making is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta, and was mainly focused on contract manufacturing of knives from other manufacturers. A few years later, the company produced the first knives of its own design, thus creating the LionSTEEL brand. The name of the factory is given by the stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building and the material from which the knives are made.
At the end of the 1990s, the founder's three sons, John Daniel and Maximus, join the work. At that time, the company made a great leap in quality with the introduction of digital machine control.
At this time the company has fifteen employees and sells its products not only in Europe but also in the USA. It focuses on the production of knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.
