The head of the Condor Tool & Knife Sentinel Axe is made from 1075 high carbon steel and heat treated and annealed to a hardness of approximately 50-55 Rockwell.
The blade has been given a black traction powder coat finish, black powder coated.
The handle wrapped with paracord, made from real parachute cord with a 550 pound capacity, which has seven internal strands for additional use when one piece of rope might not be enough. One of the inner strands can also be further unraveled to provide fishing line, sewing thread or assistance in any situation where a fine, strong cord is needed. The included pouch is made of high quality kydex with a leather belt loop designed by 710 Custom Sheaths.
