Limitovaná edice M500 ANTHROPOID 1942 – Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet B navazuje na tradici modelů Acta Non Verba připomínajících jednu z nejvýznamnějších operací československého odboje během druhé světové války.
Každý ročník této série propojuje historický odkaz operace Anthropoid s moderním zpracováním, kvalitními materiály a poctou mužům, kteří se postavili nacistické moci.
Letošní edice 2026 vzdává hold automobilu Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet B – otevřenému služebnímu vozu zastupujícího říšského protektora Reinharda Heydricha.
Právě tento vůz se 27. května 1942 stal cílem atentátu v pražské Libni během operace Anthropoid.
Výbuch granátu, který po selhání Gabčíkova samopalu vrhl Jan Kubiš, těžce poškodil automobil a byl i příčinou vážného zranění samotného Heydricha, kterému v následujících dnech podlehl.
Fotografie zničeného Mercedesu se později stala symbolem úspěšného odporu proti nacistickému režimu a připomínkou toho, že ani nejvyšší představitelé nacistické moci nebyli nedotknutelní.
Design nože vychází z osvědčeného modelu M500 ANTHROPOID, inspirovaného legendární britskou dýkou Fairbairn–Sykes. Charakter letošní limitované edice podtrhuje gravírování siluety Mercedesu-Benz 320 Cabriolet B, která se neodmyslitelně zapsala do historie operace Anthropoid.
The solid full-tang construction ensures high strength and durability during use. The ergonomically shaped, 3D-milled handle made of red G10 material with a distinctive texture provides a secure and safe grip even in demanding conditions. The knife is complemented by a distinctive guard and a handle end featuring a glass-breaking tip.
The package includes a self-locking Kydex sheath compatible with MOLLE webbing and a themed card recounting the story of this year’s edition.
Only 100 pieces will be produced, with each knife bearing its own individual numbering.
