The TOPS Knives Lil Chete is the smaller, exceptionally maneuverable sibling of the legendary El Chete machete, combining the uncompromising power of a cutting tool with a practical size for easy portability in the field. This rugged, American-made knife was designed for heavy-duty work—from cutting through dense vegetation and preparing firewood to demanding tasks involved in building shelters and survival situations.
The massive blade is made of 1095HC high-carbon steel, renowned for its extreme toughness, impact resistance, and ability to retain its edge even under very rough handling. The steel is protected by a durable coating in the desert-inspired Coyote Tan shade, which effectively prevents corrosion and gives the knife a professional tactical look.
The ergonomically shaped Micarta handle provides a secure and comfortable grip that absorbs shock during chopping and won’t slip even in wet or sweaty hands. The knife comes with a highly durable black Kydex sheath equipped with a swivel belt loop for safe, stable, and comfortable carrying in any conditions.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts.
