Functional wakizashi designed not only for practicing sets but also for chopping mats - tameshigiri. The blade is forged from overlaid high carbon steel and hardened to hamon. The hilt (Tsuka) is braided with brown silk cord (Tsukamaki) and the same color ribbon (Sageo) is used to secure the scabbard of the sword to the belt.
