The Soft-Grip clamp with two screws was designed specifically for those looking for an easier to use clamp that also prevents scratching the blades. It is not intended for use on blades 1.3 cm wide or less. It will hold almost any blade up to 18 cm in length.
For sharpening blades 1.3 cm wide or less (such as small swiss army blades), use a standard knife clamp.
