The Fieldcraft knife was designed by The Brothers of Bushcraft, an organization of men from across North America dedicated to sharing skills of all categories for life in the wilderness.
From tracking to shelter building, BOB strives to show these skills to people of all ages from all over the world.
The knife is a total of ten inches long, with a blade length of four and a half inches. It is therefore a compact but extremely usable knife.
The blade is finished with a Scandinavian cut that is very effective for carving, skinning, and other general woods work.
With a blade hardness of 56-58 Rockwell you can easily sharpen the knife, that is if you can dull the blade at all, as the hardness and blade geometry work well together to create a long lasting edge.
There is a scraper on the back of the blade that will always be safe and effective for flint strikes. All of these elements were selected based on experience and critically evaluated during the design, development and manufacture of the knife.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
