ESEE model 4 is the perfect choice between a long and short knife. If you had to choose only one knife, it should be this one. High carbon steel 1095 is tough and durable, but not suitable for soldering. However, due to its higher carbon content, it can be subject to corrosion, so the blades are coated with a protective layer that largely prevents this phenomenon. Their first design was the RTAK knife manufactured by the Wicked Knife Company in Arkansas and later produced by the Ontario Knife Company (OKC). They also developed the TOPS knives manufactured by Laser Strike. After spending five years developing the RAT line for OKC, they launched ESEE Knives.
Today, the ESEE brand is known and distributed worldwide.
