TOPS Brakimo was designed by bushcraft expert Joe Flowers to withstand the harshest jungle conditions. The Brakimo comes from the Matis tribe of Brazil, who remained isolated from the modern world until the 1970s. It is the official knife of Bushcraft Global, an organization that takes adventurers into the Colombian jungle to learn survival skills from indigenous guides. It features a tungsten-coated blade with scandi cut and a green canvas micarta handle.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
