The Barong Machete has a beautifully curved 45cm leaf-shaped blade that is made from 1055 carbon steel with an anti-corrosive black finish. Steel 1055 is a tool grade carbon steel. The carbon content and low alloy of this shallow hardened steel make it a very strong material that is not prone to brittleness. Its traditionally shaped handle made of high-pressure injection-moulded polypropylene is very easy to hold and you can perform hard chisels or stabbing with it.
