With a blade length of approximately 11 cm and a thickness of 5 mm, the premium CPM-154 stainless steel blade offers an excellent combination of toughness and cutting power. Thanks to an optimally adjusted hardness of around 59-60 HRC, it retains its sharpness even under heavy use, while its corrosion resistance minimises the need for maintenance. The drop point shape with a slight belly curve provides versatile use - from precision cutting to rougher jobs such as splitting wood using the batoning technique.
The Burl natural maple wood handle adds not only aesthetic value, but also a natural texture for a secure grip. The pairing of the individual pieces of wood provides a unique grain and excellent material stability, while the mosaic rivets add the detailed craftsmanship that is characteristic of Bark River knives.
