Hanwei's Practical Shinobi Ninja-to, whose design is similar to that of a practical katana, is a useful tool for those studying the ninja way. The blade is hand forged from high carbon steel and is differentially hardened using the traditional method. All fittings have an antique black iron finish. The decorated tsuba depicts the kuji-kiri (hand positions used to transmit energy) used by mystical ninjas. The tsuka is wrapped in synthetic black stingray leather and the wrap (tsuka-ito) is made of durable synthetic black leather. The saya has a black finish with a demon head binding for the black Japanese cotton sageo and intricate kojiri. A sword that should not be missed by any Ninjutsu practitioner.
