The blade is made of fine damascus steel with a distinctive and seductive pattern, heat-treated to a hard spring sludge, so that it resists metal fatigue, resisting deformation better in practical use.
Handle made of rosewood, wrapped with silk cord. The guard and pommel are elegantly decorated with a traditional Chinese decorative motif. The intricate, gold-coloured patterns are brought into high contrast by the application of black enamel.
The head of the sword is made of select rosewood and is decoratively styled to complement the hilt.
