Specially formulated Nathans Honing Oil promotes precision sharpening of knives and tools when used with Lansky sharpening kits. The optimized viscosity allows the grinding wheel to run smoothly over the steel, reducing friction and minimizing heat generation during the process. The oil helps to trap the fine metal filings that are produced during material removal, thereby extending the life of the grinding stones. The formulation has been designed to be non-aggressive on both steel and synthetic grinding materials without fouling the surface.
Supplied in a handy, clear 120 millilitre composite bottle, fitted with a white screw cap, it allows easy and accurate dispensing of oil onto the grinding surface. The special formulation maintains stability even in long term storage and under different temperature conditions.
