The TOPS Tundra Wolf is a rugged, sturdy outdoor knife designed for adventure and heavy-duty use in the wilderness, where reliability is essential. Its 1095 carbon steel blade, with a hardness of approximately 56–58 HRC, features a black “traction” finish that enhances resistance to wear and corrosion during intensive use. The blade’s design, featuring a pronounced curve and a fine point, offers excellent versatility—from precise cutting and food preparation to more demanding cutting tasks while camping, hunting, or in survival situations. The Micarta handle is ergonomically shaped to fit the hand in various grip positions and provide a secure, comfortable grip even in wet or demanding conditions. The knife features a balanced design that ensures an optimal compromise between portability and performance in the field. The package includes a durable Kydex sheath with a “dangler” attachment, allowing for comfortable carrying on a belt or gear while walking, sitting, or moving through rugged terrain. This model was designed by experienced knife maker Trevor Barrett of Barrett-Knives and is crafted to serve as a versatile tool for camping, survival, hunting, and general outdoor activities—strong, reliable, and ready to face the challenges of the wild.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts. Specifically, designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from martial arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT team members to Native weapons experts were collaborated with. TOPS has a designer from almost every background that uses hard-core knives.
All TOPS knives are handcrafted in a sweatshop in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA.
