Tops Overlander 2 is a great starter tool for beginners that even experienced users will love.
It is a simple, basic design that lends itself to many uses. Yet it is over-engineered and durable like all TOPS models. The ergonomics of the handle provides a comfortable grip and allows for precise use in hunting, camping, fishing, hiking and tactical situations.
Its size makes it easy to carry, conceal and use in both outdoor and urban environments. Overall, the user-friendly configuration of the knife and sheath makes the Overlander 2 a great choice for a knife with a 4-inch (10 cm) blade length.
The Overlander 2 knife boasts an updated finish with a black traction coating and an oiled Tan Canvas Micarta scales handle.
Slightly thinner handles give this version an even slimmer profile that will be just as comfortable to use and carry.
When TOPS first developed the Overlander knife many years ago, samples were sent to the SERE (survival, evasion, resistance, and extraction) military training center.
The response to the knife was universally positive, and the Overlander is still in use today.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
