This version of the popular neck knife has a Coyote Tan powder coat finish, a Black Linen Micarta scales handle with red inserts and comes with a tough black Kydex neck sheath.
The Scandi knives, which were originally designed after the Finnish Sami knife used by the Lapps for all their hunting and bushcraft tasks, were traditionally ground flat, single or double sided, with a "zero" edge. The Mini Scandi was based on the very popular, original Brothers of Bushcraft knife (BROS-01). Leo Espinoza, who designed the Mini Scandi, thought that a good idea would be a good idea in a smaller package.
It offers all the benefits of the modified Scandi grind (10 degrees) in a neck knife/small sheath that fits in a pocket or backpack.
