The "EXTREMA RATIO SETHLANS" is a fixed blade work knife suitable for a variety of situations (survival, bushcraft or also as a backup knife). The SETHLANS was designed in collaboration with experienced instructor Daniele Dal Canto. The stone washed version is made from böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC, this was chosen for the reliability it has proven over the last 20 years thanks to the durability of the blade and resistance to oxidation. The black version is made from D2 steel, heat and cryogenically treated to 60 HRC, which represents a high re-sharpening capability. To achieve higher qualities of hardness and durability, the blade is coated with a new Teflon-based product "EXP DARK", designed by Extrema Ratio. The knife is equipped with a G10 handle, which features the ergonomic design characteristic of Extrema Ratio handles. The sheath is made of very light and minimalist kydex. It can be disassembled and adapted for left- and right-handed users. The addition of an optional belt clip allows the knife to be positioned vertically and horizontally, making the sheath much more versatile than the fabric version. It also features a mini sheath with the M.O.L.L.E. system containing a double-sided sharpening stone and flint.
