This 39-09 combat knife is the result of a project sponsored by the COFS (Command of Operations of the Italian Special Forces) and its former Commander-in-Chief, General Bertolini, and supported by knife collectors around the world.It is a rebuild of the "paracadutista assaltatore" (assault paratrooper knife) model 1939, a famous piece of Italian military history. While maintaining the original shape, structure and proportions, we have managed to reinforce this combat knife, add increased functionality and manufacture it according to current military specifications using modern materials. Minor changes that make it a highly effective and reliable dagger. The included fixed sheath is designed to be worn at the ankle, in the characteristic manner of Italian paratroopers. The 39-09 ORDINANZA version is coated in black oxide with the COFS logo and motto. It comes in an ABS engraved holster with ankle scabbard and paratrooper belt sheath.
