Since 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin have been on a journey to reshape the way survival and wilderness businesses operate. They were frustrated with the endless amount of exaggeration and hype often associated with survival equipment and training, so they founded Randall's Adventure & Training to bring realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market.
Working under contract with the Peruvian flight school "Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva" (Jungle Survival School), also known by the acronym ESSEL, they have introduced many clients to the art of survival in the vast Peruvian Amazon jungle.
After a few years in South America, they moved their training to the US and started a sister company to manufacture high quality knives and field equipment - ESEE Knives.
Their first design was the RTAK knife manufactured by the Wicked Knife Company in Arkansas and later produced by the Ontario Knife Company (OKC). They also developed the TOPS knives manufactured by Laser Strike. After spending five years developing the RAT line for OKC, they launched ESEE Knives.
Today, the ESEE brand is known and distributed worldwide. ESEE Knives/Randall's Adventure & Training clientele ranges from special operations personnel, rescue workers, hunters, police officers, border security, film crews, outdoorsmen to professional adventurers. Their courses and equipment have been featured on the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and in numerous movies, books, leading outdoor magazines and trade publications.
