Wild West Bowie is a replica of a bowie knife from the wild west. It is a faithful replica of the legendary James Bowie knife, identical in both size and form. The blade is made of 1090 carbon steel. High carbon steel (carbon content around 0.90%) is the best choice for long fixed blades, but it finds many other uses as well. It sharpens well and holds its edge for a long time, while also retaining high stiffness. The rosewood handle has a classic profile and is fitted with an "S" shaped brass guard to protect the fingers and increase the defensive potential.
