Cold Steel's modern interpretation of the war hammer is very dexterous and can easily be wielded with one or two hands. The head is die-forged from 1055 carbon steel and heat treated. The tip of the spike and the face of the hammer are fully hardened to punch through and crush tough materials, while the rest of the hammer is forged to be softer - to cushion the impact of heavy blows. The warhammer's handle is made of straight American Hickory and is finished with a pair of sturdy steel langets.
