Cold Steel's most distinctive combat knife in the SK-5 blade design is an economical but highly effective variant of these iconic knives. The Cold Steel SRK (Survival Rescue Knife) was designed specifically with survival and rescue operations in mind. The blade of the knife is made of Japanese high carbon steel SK-5, which exhibits high toughness, holds the blade very well and has great abrasion resistance. The blade is further treated with Black Tuff-Ex™ anti-corrosion coating. The perfectly shaped Kraton (Long Kray-Ex™) handle offers a non-slip surface. It fits perfectly in the hand and allows even very delicate handling in wet and muddy environments.
