The Bark River Kephart 4 Tan Burlap 3V is a traditionally styled knife inspired by the classic design of Horace Kephart, legendary traveler and outdoor writer. The blade, approximately 108 mm long, is made of premium CPM 3V tool steel, known for its high toughness, chipping resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. The blade thickness reaches 2.5 mm, which ensures solid strength during more demanding use – from lighter chopping to woodworking and detailed work.
The blade geometry consists of a flat grind with a smooth transition to the tip, which improves cutting performance and provides maximum control over the cut. The shape of the blade faithfully follows Kephart's original design – the straight guard and symmetrical line support a wide range of uses in camping, bushcraft, and hunting activities.
The handle is made of Tan Burlap Micarta panels, a laminate of jute fabric and resin, which offers a secure grip even when wet and creates a natural, rustic look.
