The handy Böker Plus Subcom by Chad Los Banos can now be confidently described as one of the cornerstones of Böker Plus. The extremely high utility value in everyday use and the space-saving design have become legendary. The enduring popularity of this versatile pocket knife has prompted the manufacturer to re-release this ultra-compact classic in a modernised version. The Böker Plus Subcom 2.0 features a short blade in D2 material with a discreet beadblast finish. It opens with a thumb stud on both sides and is securely locked in place with a two millimeter thick steel plate frame lock. The distinctive hand guard increases comfort when holding and prevents slipping into the blade. The textured handle made of black Zytel material has a three-dimensional milling and thanks to this surface texture, the ergonomic shape and the ribbing in the thumb rest area, it always fits securely in the hand, even when wet. With lanyard loop and convertible clip (tip-up/tip-down).

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
