Detailed information

Product detailed description

The Boker BRLW Fulldress belongs among exclusive limited-edition folding knives aimed at collectors seeking premium materials and precision craftsmanship. With a worldwide production limited to only 99 pieces, the model emphasizes the unique character of every individual knife. The construction combines modern EDC knife mechanics with a luxurious approach to detail, where the Damasteel Damascus blade and striking Mokuti handle play the leading roles. The BRLW Fulldress limited edition merges collector appeal with a fully functional construction suitable for everyday carry.

The drop point blade is crafted from powder-metallurgy Damasteel featuring 264 layers in the decorative Nidhogg pattern. A hardness of approximately 59 HRC supports long edge retention while maintaining good toughness for regular use. The subtly defined false edge visually lightens the blade profile and improves control during detailed cutting tasks. The characteristic Damascus pattern creates a dynamic surface that changes depending on light reflection. Damasteel belongs among the most advanced Damascus materials, combining high durability, corrosion resistance, and a distinctive visual effect.

Opening via the thumb stud feels fast and smooth thanks to the precisely tuned mechanism. The liner lock securely fixes the blade in the open position with solid engagement and minimal play. The knife feels compact yet sufficiently robust for everyday cutting tasks. One-handed operation combined with a reliable locking mechanism supports practical use beyond pure collector value.

The Mokuti handle creates a striking visual contrast through blue and purple tones formed by heat-treated titanium alloys. Each piece develops a slightly different pattern and color transition, reinforcing the individuality of the knife. Ergonomic shaping improves grip security while maintaining an elegant profile suitable for EDC carry. Gold-anodized screws, pivot hardware, and the pocket clip complement the luxurious character of the entire construction. Mokuti combines the technical durability of titanium with the unique color effects typical of high-end custom knives.

The right-hand tip-up Mokuti pocket clip allows comfortable carry without disrupting the clean lines of the design. A lanyard hole expands customization options for the user. The package usually includes an elegant presentation box intended for safe storage and display within a collection. The Boker BRLW Fulldress appeals not only to Damascus knife enthusiasts, but also to users looking for a technically refined folding knife with bold aesthetics and highly limited availability.

The roots of Böker go back to the 17th century, when the family forge operated in Remscheid and focused on steel processing and edge tools. Over time, practical experience shaped a technical mindset that balanced durability, cutting performance, and reliability. The expansion into sabres and rapiers around 1829–1830 marked a decisive technological step, demanding precise heat treatment and consistent blade geometry. With more than a hundred skilled craftsmen employed, the company gained the capacity to refine production without losing its artisanal foundation.

During the second half of the 19th century, parts of the family moved to North America, establishing facilities in the USA and Canada. This international presence allowed experimentation with new designs and materials. Today, major production remains in Solingen, supported by manufacturing in the USA and Argentina, while modern CNC machining ensures tight tolerances and repeatable results. Böker develops knives in-house and in collaboration with well-known makers, delivering tools that combine engineering precision with practical usability, including the widely distributed MAGNUM line aimed at robust everyday performance.
