Product detailed description
An anniversary variant inspired by its original designers McHenry and Williams.
Constant collaboration with skilled craftsmen, designers and craftswomen is essential to produce the long-lasting knives and innovations for which Benchmade is known. One such fruitful collaboration has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned custom knifemakers with watchmaking roots who consider their work "art with an edge." McHenry and Williams are also responsible for creating the groundbreaking AXIS® lock technology on the first Benchmade 710 knife in 1999. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of AXIS® lock technology, the new 710FE-24 has the same large frame and ample cutting power as the original model - but it's taller. The 710FE-24 features a stylish drop-point blade made from quality CPM S9OV steel with FDE PVD finish, an amazingly lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a gray anodized finish, milled FDE PVD scales, pocket clip, swivel ring and satin thumb stud, and AXIS® lock.

Benchmade Knife Company has earned its reputation as one of the leading American manufacturers of modern, high-tech knives. Since the late 1970s, the brand has focused on innovation, functional design, and real-world performance rather than short-lived trends. Precision manufacturing, advanced blade steels, and reliable locking systems define the Benchmade approach.
Early recognition came with the iconic Bali-Song folding knife, a model that highlighted mechanical ingenuity and balance. This success encouraged further development in blade geometry, handle ergonomics, and durability. Benchmade blends traditional knife-making values with contemporary engineering.
Based in Oregon, the company benefits from a strong local knife-making culture and a regulatory environment that supports craftsmanship and experimentation. Continuous testing and refinement play a major role in product development. As a result, Benchmade knives are trusted by professionals, military users, and demanding enthusiasts worldwide.
Today, the brand is closely associated with features such as the AXIS Lock mechanism, modern powdered steels, and long service life. Each knife feels purpose-built and technically refined. These qualities make Benchmade knives practical tools designed for everyday use and demanding conditions alike.
