ACTA NON VERBA A400 Coyote ANVA400-002
Code: ANVA400-002Related products
Product detailed description
The Acta Non Verba A400 builds on the success of the M200 HARDTASK fixed-blade knife, translating its character into a rugged folding knife designed for everyday carry and more demanding outdoor use. It combines a durable construction, top-quality materials, and well-thought-out details that allow it to perform reliably during work and outdoor activities.
The Light Recurve blade is made from Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel, which achieves a hardness of 58–60 HRC after cryogenic hardening. This steel offers excellent toughness, long-lasting edge retention, and high durability under demanding conditions. The surface is protected by an exceptionally durable bronze-brown DLC coating, which enhances resistance to wear and corrosion while giving the knife a unique look.
A ball-bearing mechanism combined with a flipper ensures quick and smooth opening, complemented by the traditional ANV Lumidot element for easy orientation even in low-light conditions. The blade also features a practical recess for use with a fire steel, borrowed from the fixed-blade M200 HARDTASK model.
The ergonomically shaped handle, made of 3D-machined G10 in Coyote color, provides a secure and comfortable grip in all conditions. Steel liners reinforce the construction along the entire length, while the proven ANV A-Lock ensures reliable blade locking in both the open and closed positions. Of course, it features a reversible Deep Carry wire clip for discreet and comfortable carrying in a pocket, as well as the characteristic black spacers that highlight the signature design of Acta Non Verba knives.
The A400 Coyote is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a rugged EDC knife with a modern design, high durability, and precision craftsmanship, made in the Czech Republic.

The Czech knife manufacturer from Moravské Budějovice is one of the brands that has quickly gained respect not only on the domestic scene but also abroad. Acta non verba symbolically launched production on August 18, 2018, at 6:18 p.m., emphasizing its attention to detail, precision, and clear philosophy from day one. Production includes folding and fixed knives designed for everyday use, tactical deployment, and outdoor activities.
Most models are based on D2 tool steel, known for its high wear resistance and ability to hold its edge for a long time. In addition, modern premium materials are also used, such as Magnacut, with its balanced combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, and stable edge, as well as Elmax and Sleipner, popular among professionals and demanding users. Each blade undergoes careful heat treatment, which has a significant impact on its final properties in real-world use, not just on paper.
The manufacturing process emphasizes precise CNC operations, manual inspection of details, and functional ergonomics. The shapes of the handles ensure a secure grip even in demanding conditions, while the use of modern materials promotes low weight and long service life. The design is not self-serving; each element has a clear role in the overall functionality of the knife. The mechanics of the folding models rely on reliability, smooth operation, and long-term stability without play.
The Latin proverb Acta non verba – deeds, not words – accurately captures the approach of this brand. Instead of marketing phrases, the focus is on real performance, consistent quality, and reliability.
