The Due Cigni beautiful serrated pastry knife from the 1896 series is designed for slicing bread, as well as baguettes and other larger pastries. The serrations are very effective in this case, the knife does not "cut" into fresh crispy products and the result is an even cut. The serrated blade also stays sharp for a very long time.

The knives, which are part of the exclusive 1896 Due Cigni series, have handles made of walnut wood, which is extremely appreciated for its unmistakable pattern and high durability. This unique wood has been used in Europe since the 17th century, primarily for the production of fine furniture, the stocks of valuable hunting rifles, and high-end artistic and decorative objects. Its excellent qualities are evidenced, for example, by the fact that the price of Asian walnut wood is much higher than that of frequently used exotic woods (rosewood, mahogany).
