The Bark River Kephart 4 Green Micarta 3V is a traditionally styled knife inspired by the classic design of Horace Kephart, legendary explorer and outdoor writer. The blade is approximately 108mm long and made from premium CPM 3V tool steel, known for its high toughness, chip resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. The blade thickness reaches 2.5 mm, which ensures solid strength for more demanding applications such as chopping, woodworking or detail work.

The blade geometry features a flat cut with a gentle transition to the tip, making cutting easier and maximising control over the cutting line. The blade shape follows Kephart's original design - the straight guard and symmetrical shape promote versatile use in camping, bushcraft and hunting activities.

The handle is made up of panels of Green Canvas Micarta, a laminate composed of fabric and resin, known for its excellent grip even in wet conditions and high resistance to mechanical damage. The profile of the handle is rounded, gently tapering towards the front, which promotes a comfortable and secure grip when working for long periods of time. A grommet hole is located at the end of the handle, allowing the installation of a paracord for added safety or ease of carrying. 

The overall length of the knife is approximately 222 mm and the weight is around 129 grams, making it a well-balanced tool suitable for long-term field carry. Also included is a high quality, hand-stitched leather sheath that protects the blade and allows it to be worn on the belt in an upright position.
