The Bark River Aurora is the ultimate interpretation of the classic bushcraft knife, designed with maximum functionality in the field in mind. The 3.8mm thick, 117mm long, advanced CPM MagnaCut steel blade provides an exceptional combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and long-lasting sharpness. Thanks to its optimized carbide composition and high tensile strength, MagnaCut can handle the extreme stresses of cutting hard materials as well as the delicate tasks of food preparation or woodworking.

The blade has a typical Scandinavian cut design with a gentle curve to the tip, which ensures precise control over the cutting guide and minimizes the risk of blade breakage during detail work. The fine satin finish reduces friction when cutting while protecting the blade from microscopic wear.

The handle features panels of black canvas Micarta, a material known for its extreme resistance to moisture, temperature changes and mechanical wear. The finely contoured handle profile with a pronounced belly in the center area provides an exceptionally secure grip even in gloved or wet conditions. The length of the handle allows a full grip in all common knife holding techniques.

The overall length of the knife reaches 237 mm and its weight of approximately 190 grams provides an ideal balance between robustness and maneuverability. The full-tang construction, an integral continuation of the blade through the entire length of the handle, increases the strength of the whole and eliminates weak points critical for demanding outdoor use. 

A sturdy premium cowhide leather sheath, shaped to fit the knife and fitted with a belt loop, is included. This detail, along with traditional rivets, promotes trouble-free carry in variable conditions.
