Tactical and tough. That's what the 06 FAST is, a quick-opening knife with a G-10 handle for better wet grip. Aggressive styling is supported by a tanto-shaped blade with partial serrations.
In 2005, Gerber introduced a patented blade opening concept - Forward Action Spring Technology - or F.A.S.T. With one hand, the blade opens approximately ten degrees, allowing a spring to propel the blade at a lightening speed the rest of the way to the open position. This exclusive mechanism was developed by acclaimed Oregon custom knifemaker Butch Vallotton, whose name adorns one of Gerber's line of assisted-opening knives.
