TOPS teamed up with Goran Mihajlovic to produce the Tanimboca Puukko knife. Goran is originally from Serbia but grew up in Germany. He has now lived in Colombia for over 20 years. He owns the Tanimboca Nature Reserve, which contains hundreds, if not thousands, of species of plants, animals and insects. He has been a user and knife enthusiast all his life. In recent years, he started making knives in his forge in the Amazon jungle. He prefers Puukkos knives for their ability to perform well in a variety of cutting tasks.
The TOPS version of his design blends traditional elements with TOPS style. It has a classic Puukko blade with a very slight clip point.
The well-rounded Micarta handles with red inserts honor the traditional style. The knife sits deep in the leather sheath.
When you add paracord to it, you can easily carry it as a neck knife when needed. Once you get your hands on the Tanimboca Puukko knife, you won't want to put it down.
