Detailed information

Product detailed description

Based on a long tradition of knife making, this knife is a great partner for staying and surviving in the wilderness, whether you want to chop wood, build a fire or skin game - you'll always be ready for the challenge, only the finest materials are used for every part of the knife, from the handle to the tip of the blade
-The rhombus handle pattern is a traditional pattern, variations of which can be found on many Mora knives, and provides a comfortable and firm grip
-The blade is ground in a Scandinavian style, The blade has a semi-matte finish popular among outdoor enthusiasts
-The blade is made of high quality optimally treated Swedish steel (12C27), is 2.5 mm wide and 109 mm long
-A hanging hole is found at the top of the handle for attaching the knife with a carabiner, The handle is made of a special extra strong polyamide, which provides extra durability compared to other polymers when the handle is stressed
-the symmetrical handle allows flexible use and its design also offers a firm grip on the knife
-the knife can be inserted into the sheath in both directions of the blade
-the edge of the knife is sharpened so that the blade can be inserted in both directions, to work perfectly in combination with the flint, the knife blade does not need to be used to start a fire and the blade does not dull
-traditional plastic olive sheath with two drainage holes allows easy cleaning and maintenance of the knife
-the knife includes a removable plastic sleeve around the sheath with a leather loop for attaching to the belt
-the belt loop can be detached and then reattached to the sheath itself
-leather as a natural material is the best choice, when it comes to frequent use of the knife and small stressed parts, -the polypropylene used in the manufacture of the sheath ensures its strength and excellent protection of the knife
-the shape of the sheath is inspired by the design of sheaths produced in the early nineties and looks almost the same as the classic editions of the knife
-the symmetry of the sheath is of fundamental importance, as it allows the knife to be stored regardless of the direction of the blade edge and is ideal for right or left-handed users
-includes paracord cord, flint and a sheath attachment to hold the flint
-two crossed arrows with a crown are the emblem of the province of Dalarna

Traditional Swedish Mora knives have earned a strong reputation as dependable tools over many years. Their strength lies in straightforward design, proven materials and real-world usability, rather than visual extravagance. Blades are commonly made from Scandinavian steel, treated to balance edge retention with easy maintenance. The characteristic grind supports controlled cutting during woodworking, food preparation or general outdoor tasks. Handles feel secure in the hand, even in cold or wet conditions, reflecting their northern heritage.

Knife making in the Mora region reaches far back in history, and this long-standing craftsmanship still influences production today. Generations of experience combine with modern manufacturing techniques, resulting in tools that perform consistently in daily use. Mora knives often serve as an entry point for beginners, yet continue to satisfy experienced users who value reliability.

Well-known model lines gained popularity through versatility, durability and honest performance. Mora demonstrates that a simple, well-made knife can deliver outstanding value without unnecessary complexity. This practical philosophy explains why the brand remains trusted worldwide.
