Lionsteel Acha - Natural Burlap - Black blade M390
Code: AH B BLNRelated products
Product detailed description
LionSteel Acha is named after its design, in which the blade passes through the handle and is secured at the end with a steel nut. This system creates an extremely strong unit and at the same time allows for easy disassembly for maintenance. The M390 powder steel blade with a Black PVD coating and subsequent stonewash finish ensures high resistance to wear, corrosion, and mechanical stress, while maintaining long-lasting sharpness.
The transition between the blade and the handle is formed by a precisely milled titanium guard made on 3D CNC machines. This element not only strengthens the construction, but also protects the fingers during work. The handle, manufactured using SOLID technology, is available in several variants made of micarta with a canvas structure, which improves grip and ensures a secure hold even in wet conditions. The ergonomic shape allows for a secure grip of the knife in various types of holds, whether for delicate work or for forceful use.
At the end of the handle is a steel nut with a precision-turned surface. It is equipped with holes into which a special key supplied with the knife can be inserted. Using this key, the nut can be easily unscrewed and the entire knife can be disassembled for cleaning or lubricating the internal parts. This approach emphasizes not only functionality, but also attention to detail and long-term sustainability.
The Acha model, designed by Moletta, is the first LionSteel knife assembled in this unique way, combining aesthetics with technical precision to create an elegant yet robust knife for everyday use.

LionSteel was founded in 1969 in Maniago, where knife making is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta, and was mainly focused on contract manufacturing of knives from other manufacturers. A few years later, the company produced the first knives of its own design, thus creating the LionSTEEL brand. The name of the factory is given by the stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building and the material from which the knives are made.
At the end of the 1990s, the founder's three sons, John Daniel and Maximus, join the work. At that time, the company made a great leap in quality with the introduction of digital machine control.
At this time the company has fifteen employees and sells its products not only in Europe but also in the USA. It focuses on the production of knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.
