Product detailed description
The Bark River Bravo 1.25 LT is a rugged yet precisely designed knife, ideal for demanding outdoor and bushcraft use. The blade length of approximately 127mm is made from highly durable CPM 3V tool steel, which features excellent toughness, extreme blade chipping resistance and excellent wear resistance, making it suitable for woodworking, camping and wilderness survival. The blade thickness reaches approximately 4 mm, with the "LT" (Lightweight) version resulting in a subtle weight reduction compared to the standard version without compromising the overall strength of the design.
The blade has a traditional convex cut that promotes excellent cutting properties while providing the necessary strength in the blade area. The finish is a fine satin finish, which not only provides aesthetic value but also aids in corrosion protection with proper maintenance.
The micarta handle provides an exceptional grip even when wet or in challenging conditions. Composed of layers of canvas and resin, Micarta offers high resistance to moisture, temperature fluctuations and mechanical wear. The ergonomic shaping of the handle, together with a subtle increase in the belly area, helps to ensure a secure and firm grip during power washing, while the soft contours allow for long-lasting use without hand fatigue.
The overall length of the knife is approximately 250 mm and its weight is around 200 grams, which represents a balanced compromise between stability and maneuverability. The full tang construction, i.e. the passage of steel through the entire handle, significantly increases the overall strength of the knife and its reliability in extreme conditions.
The knife includes a hand-stitched coarse cowhide leather sheath that ensures the knife is safe to carry and quick to access. The sheath features a belt clip option and securely attaches the knife with a leather clip.

Bark River is an American family brand with a long-standing focus on manufacturing sturdy knives designed for real-world use in the field. Each model is developed based on the practical experience of outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and professionals who value reliability, functionality, and durability. The brand's philosophy is based on honest workmanship, careful selection of materials, and consistent quality control at every stage of production.
In the production of blades, Bark River combines classic knife-making techniques with modern heat treatment technologies, achieving a balanced ratio between toughness, sharpness, and wear resistance. The steels used undergo optimized hardening and tempering, which has a positive effect during long-term use in demanding conditions, such as woodworking, food processing, or bushcraft activities.
Great attention is also paid to the ergonomics of the handles. The shape is based on the natural grip of the hand, which increases comfort during longer work and reduces fatigue. The materials used for the handles, including natural and modern composites, offer good grip stability even in wet or cold weather. Each knife feels balanced and predictable, which users will appreciate when performing precise and forceful tasks.
Bark River maintains its reputation as a brand that offers high utility value without unnecessary compromises. The products are aimed at customers looking for a quality outdoor knife with a long service life, consistent performance, and a reasonable price-performance ratio. Thanks to a combination of a traditional approach, modern manufacturing processes, and an emphasis on real-world use, Bark River knives are sought-after tools in the outdoor, survival, and bushcraft fields.
