Backlock
The Backlock knife lock works on the principle of a reverse lock, which secures the knife pin in the open position. When the blade is unfolded, a spring in the handle groove moves and locks behind the pin, preventing accidental folding. To close the knife, press the lever located at the top of the handle, which deflects the latch away from the pin and allows the blade to move smoothly back into the closed position.
This mechanism provides a high level of safety and stability during work, as the backlock can withstand the forces exerted during cutting or prying. The ergonomic placement of the control lever allows for one-handed operation, which increases efficiency and comfort of use.
The backlock design also ensures wear resistance, as the forces are transferred directly to the fixed part of the handle, not to the spring. The entire system works reliably even with frequent opening and closing, minimizing the risk of accidental injury, thus meeting the demands of modern pocket and work knives.
