The Woodboy saw has extremely fine teeth on the saw blades, which are the best in the Silky line of wood saws. These very fine teeth leave the smoothest cut possible. It has a lightweight aluminum handle with a rubberized surface that provides a good grip and reduces vibration. The blade folds into the handle for protection. The locking mechanism on the handle allows the saw to be used in two positions. In the second position, the handle lifts up to facilitate cutting on a flat surface.
Two standard Woodboy variants are available for the Kataba, one with 26 teeth at 30 mm and one with 32 teeth at 30 mm, and one variant for the Dozuki with 32 teeth at 30 and a reinforced back (Dovetail). Please note that the blades of the Kataba and Dozuki models are not interchangeable.

To maintain effectiveness, the knife should be kept clean. The resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle.
When not in use, ensure that the saw is always dry. Store the saw in a dry place, preferably in a sturdy case or suitable sleeve.
