This powerful pull saw has a blade length of at least 50 cm, with which you can easily cut through tree trunks of 25 cm in length. Therefore, the Katanaboy can be conveniently compared to a chainsaw, but without the oil, petrol, noise and pollution. Moreover, this saw is light and compact enough to take with you into the field.
It is the ideal saw for more demanding jobs: path maintenance, cutting firewood or building a shelter during your camping trips in the forest. You will be surprised how little power is needed to achieve the results possible. The Katanaboy can really do it all: wet, dry, rotten and hard wood.
The strong blade has an aggressive tooth configuration and can take a lot. The teeth have been uniquely ground into the blade and stay sharp for a long time. With the help of the locking button, you can disassemble and fold this saw quickly and easily. For safety reasons, this process is done in two stages: first the saw can be folded in half and then (watch your fingers!) it can be folded completely.
The ergonomic rubber handle absorbs vibrations. When using the Katanaboy with both hands, the shoulders are more relaxed, which has a fantastic effect on the performance of the saw.
Katanaboy was named after the samurai sword "Katana".

The Katanaboy is available in three different versions: the Katanaboy 500-5, the Katanaboy 650-4 and the Katanaboy 1000-2.5-5.
As with every Silky saw, the teeth stay sharp for a long time. If necessary, the teeth of the Katanaboy can be sharpened with a Silky file.
The Katanaboy comes with a sturdy nylon shoulder bag with Velcro fastening. The bag also has a pocket for a spare blade.

To maintain effectiveness, the knife should be kept clean. The resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle.
When not in use, ensure that the saw is always dry. Store the saw in a dry place, preferably in a sturdy case or suitable sleeve.
