The throwing stars are used for fun and enjoyment of precise "stabbing". The throwing technique is not too complicated thanks to the large number of spikes that the starfish contain. Soft wood should be used as a base. The throwing starfish are not hardened to a higher hardness because of the better "flexibility" they suffer when impaled. This prevents parts from breaking or breaking off too often.
