Wakizashi is made as a complement to katana (PC2073) and tantu (PC2259) from Hanwei Practical Plus series. The blade is forged from high carbon 1566 steel with a distinctive hamon, genuine Rayskin on the Tsuka handle and a leather handle wrap (Tsuka-Ito) specially developed for superior gripping properties. The Practical Plus fittings are decorated with a Japanese Dogwood motif with dragon menuki and the handsome Tsuba has an iron "sunburst" design with brass habaki.
