Cold Steel Shamshir's superbly heat-treated carbon steel blade has a deep curve and narrow cross-section combined with a sharp edge and a very sharp point. It is complemented by a brass hilt and a faux buffalo horn handle that is finished with a distinctive pommel. The pommel is slightly curved downward for better balance during sharp chopping strokes. The beautiful handmade sheath made of thick black leather (so it doesn't dull the blade) is reinforced with a brass throat. The scabbard also features two hanging rings for easy carrying or display.
