The HIGHRISE adapter for KMFS Rival MOA21 was created as a solution for more precise work with the blade, when normal clamping is sometimes insufficient. Additional clamps move the blade to a higher position relative to the guide axis, opening up the possibility of adjusting sharper grinding angles and achieving a finer, more consistent result. The design, engineered for stability, limits unwanted bending caused by the pressure of the grinding stones and keeps the blade in a firm, even support.
The user gains versatility because the clamps can be moved along stainless steel rods and adjusted according to the length or shape of the specific knife. Small blades can be clamped with both clamps at once on one set of rods, providing an extremely firm hold suitable for detailed work.
