The Hogue Expel is built on a 440C stainless steel frame and features removable G10 shanks with Peel Ply texture. It is very lightweight and compatible with popular scalpel blades, so it boasts versatility to suit the user's immediate needs. A key feature of the Expel knife's design is its dual-function switch mechanism. The switch functions as both a lock and an ejector, which when used completely locks the blade in place while allowing the user to effortlessly eject the blade without contacting the sharp edge.
