The Za-Pas Ultra Outdoor is a rugged outdoor knife designed for demanding conditions where you need to be able to rely on your gear 100%. It combines durable materials, precision craftsmanship, and a modern tactical look in an elegant all-black finish.

The blade is made of Lohmann AISI O2-NMV (1.2842) tool steel with 1% carbon content, offering very high impact strength and resistance to dulling. This steel has a better composition than popular carbon steels such as 80CrV2 or 1095; it can achieve a hardness of up to 63 HRC, but is intentionally not hardened to that level. The blades are hardened to 58-59 HRC, making the knife a compromise between high impact strength and good sharpness. The black finish not only emphasizes the knife’s tactical character but also increases corrosion resistance and reduces unwanted glare in the field.

The ergonomic Black G10 handle provides a firm and secure grip even in wet or cold conditions. The pronounced texturing ensures maximum control when working with wood, preparing kindling, building a shelter, or performing common camping activities. The knife’s construction is designed to withstand heavy loads and handle even the most demanding tasks in the outdoors.
