Its massive 1095 carbon steel blade with a tactical gray finish offers excellent wear resistance, deep cuts, and superb cutting geometry—ideal for demanding wilderness tasks such as chopping, splitting, wood preparation, or campfire work. The ergonomic Micarta handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand even during extended use and provides a secure grip even in wet conditions, while the full-tang construction ensures maximum strength and reliability. In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
