Joshua Swanagon, who has martial arts experience, has been trained with karambit and is also a fan of ring knives and their proficiency in combat use. However, since he is also an avid outdoorsman, he found that as field utility knives, they are not ideal. Therefore, he decided to make a knife that would combine these disciplines and called it the C.U.T. 4.0 (Combat Utility Tool).
It is a combat, ring knife with a utility style blade for use in the field. The curved handle and karambit ring provide excellent comfort for combat use, and the traditional drop point blade profile is ideal for the field. The aggressive tip provides maximum penetration in combat, making the C.U.T. 4.0 knife much easier to penetrate body armor or heavy clothing.
The C.U.T. 4.0 was designed with professional personnel in mind, but will also make a great EDC for civilians and martial artists who like the variety of a dual-purpose knife.
