The purpose of the C.A.T. knife was to provide a solid backup knife that could be easily concealed and could save a life with the right scenario and proper training. It is a small, strong, highly versatile knife that is easy to use and maintain. The design allows for good piercing and slashing cuts as well as versatile use in EDC. The Kydex sheath helps keep a low profile and has a swivel clip so it can be easily carried in multiple positions.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
