The Böker P08-Damast not only follows the various design elements of the unusually aesthetic Luger P08 authoritative pistol, but also features a unique damascus blade made from the barrel steel of the P08 pistol. The remarkable damascus was hand forged by Chad Nichols in the Boomerang pattern. The handle of the dagger, which is also compact, is made of certified imported rosewood and resembles the classic simple checkering characteristic of a pistol grip. In addition, the same mounting screws as the P08 are used to mount these handles. The taper of the exposed barrel is also reflected in the angle of the sides of the grip.
It comes with a quality black leather holster that has a sewn-in Ulticlip and can be conveniently attached thanks to a locking spring clip. This allows the Böker P08-Damascus dagger to be effortlessly removed, while the sheath is held securely in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Böker knife manufactory in Solingen. Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
